21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC):
This program provides after school enrichment and summer camp programs to school aged children from low-income families. This program starts with an hour of homework assistance followed by an hour of mathematics and reading enrichment activities. Participants receive a nutritious snack each day while at the program. The After School program averages two hundred students during the school year. Kedila is in its eighth year of operating this program. In the summer camp, students start the day with a stretching exercise, before morning learning and tutoring activities. They then transition to enrichment activities such as, Martial Arts, tennis, Dance, Arts and Crafts swimming and Field Trips.
YouthBuild Program:
This program works with young adults ages 16-24 who did not obtain a high school diploma. The program prepares students for their GED (General Education Diploma) examination, teaches them basic construction skills, and encourages leadership development. Participants earn a stipend while in the program, and are provided case management to assist in breaking down personal barriers that might hinder their success. The program also makes every effort to place participants on living wages jobs.
CNA(Certified Nursing Assistance)
This Program provides Certified Nursing Assistance to 18-24 year old, by preparing participants to obtain the State Certificate in CAN through theory and clinical training. The program also assist with job placement.
