This program provides after school enrichment and summer camp programs to school aged children from low-income families. This program starts with an hour of homework help followed by an hour of mathematics enrichment activities. Participants receive a nutritious snack each day while at the program. Freedom School:

This summer reading program introduces school aged children to the love of reading. The morning portion of the program starts off with HARAMBEE, a thirty-minute activity that energizes the campers for their day. The rest of the morning is dedicated to academic exercises. The afternoon portion of the program is dedicated to enrichment activities ranging from traditional school yard games to community outreach activities to field trips to the zoo or aquarium. Campers receive two nutritious meals and one snack each day at camp. In 2010, the program expanded to two sites. This past summer, the program enrolled a total of one hundred and thirty students.

YouthBuild Program:

This program works with young adults ages 18-24 who did not obtain a high school diploma. The program prepares students for their GED (General Education Diploma) examination, teaches them basic construction skills, and encourages leadership development. Participants earn a stipend while in the program, and are provided case management to assist in breaking down personal barriers that might hinder their success. The program also makes every effort to place participants on living wages jobs. Out of the eighty graduates since 2008 more than 60% are gainfully employed or are working on their higher education and one is employed by Kedila as a construction assistant.
